How Spoiled is your Boxer?

The other day I was in the kitchen and Titus and Chloe were sitting there watching my every move. Sound familiar? Anyway, I see a box of Chicken in a Biscuit crackers on the counter and open them up and start eating them. I give Chloe one and as always she gobbles it up. I give Titus one and he drops it on the floor. This happened several times and I noticed titus staring at the counter and looking at the cracker lying on the floor. After a minute or so I realize that he's waiting for me to put some of that cheese in a can on the cracker. I squirt a little on the cracker and he starts chowing down. My wife is watching me in the kitchen and when i look over at her she is smiling and says that Titus has to have cheese on his crackers before he will eat them. Is that pittiful or not?

That's not pitiful. It is the difference between owning a dog and owning a boxer. Here at BW we all do those type of things. The latest one in my house is when trying to give Rocky his allergy pill I have to give him a bite of cheese without the pill before he will he the cheese with the pill in it. Otherwise he will suck the cheese off and spit out the pill. Also Lucy has to get a bite of cheese when he gets his pill or she pitches a fit. We do all this twice a day like it is normal.

It always amazes me how boxers train us instead of the other way around. When we got Paulie my husband and I said in no way is he going to sleep on the bed. Now Paulie knows that when my husband has to work at night(fireman) that he will be sleeping with me. He won't dare get on the bed if my husband is home. It's our secret and us against him on this one

Sprocket and Caseopia both take vitamins everyday. Used to be they would catch them with their mouths and chomp-chomp-gone. LOL
Well now, Sprocket stares at the cabinet door waiting for Peanut Butter on his, because he doesnt want the same thing as Caseopia got. He has to have it "better". So Now i have to give him his with peanut butter on it EVERYDAY. Then she gets hers plain. After he leaves the room, though.. I let her lick the spoon!

I agree, they DO train US. Not the other way around.

Ok, MamaZoo... the first time I search the internet and I see "HumanWorld", a site where Boxers list pictures of their people. LOL I swear. I am loading up the computer and out to the curb it goes! LOL

Bella knows what the peanut butter jar looks like. She hears me go in the pantry and get it to make a sandwich and she comes up to me and sits and looks at me waiting for her peanut butter. and i of course give it to her because she's just too cute!!

OMG Toni loves peanut butter. She gets it every night at bedtime or she won't go to bed. The funniest thing though is when she wants some at other times she'll come up to me and start licking her lips and making a slurping sound. It means I NEED peanut butter, and of course she gets it! Also - she wants ice in her water. She'll look in her water bowl and if there is no ice she'll walk over to the refrigerator and sit down and look at the ice dispenser. If I don't get it for her right away she starts whining and woo wooing while starting at the frig. Spolied? No not my child!
