I would have to say mine is pretty spoiled already, we have only had him for 3 weeks and it doesn't take long!!! He is sitting on my lap chewing on a toy as I type, but he will be disapointed when he gets bigger.

Mine are horribly spoiled as well. We let them up on almost any furniture (except for my 2 new wingback chairs). We even let them jump and play on our bed. Chewy sleeps with us. They probably have 30 toys, eat the best of food, get so many treats, go almost everywhere with us, and don't have to be home alone very long or very often. They have cute collars with designs on them, matching leashes, go to the dog park 3-4 times a week, and we even took them to the mall to get their pictures taken! (see gallery) I suppose that qualifies them at spoiled, eh? :D

SPOILED!!!

If it isn't my fiancee and i, it's also their grandparents!!! My mom sneaks them Cheese, bananas, green lettuce. etc!! We almost have to pat her down before she sees D and B! My fiancees mom, oh good lord!! We will buy a HUGE bag of Mother Hubbard treats and day 2 of having them they are completely all gone!! SHE comes home from her first job instead of going right to her second job so that "her grandkids" can play outside for a bit! They aren't even in their crates that long!!!

Ok yea we spoil them too....in Seattle it usually doesn't get very hot but when it hits 75 my fiancee and i just about die from the heat (I know for all you people that live in Arizona etc that is like Winter :D) But Dasia and Bianca can not stand it..so we went out and bought them Air Conditioning for their own BEDROOM!! Fiancee and I??? Yea we get the fan!

Harley is so very spoiled and if you ask him he would agree.
* He gets to sleep on the bed with us
* When he gets his bath he gets it in the shower with me
* If I go to my mom & dad's or grandparents houses he goes
right along and he gets to sit in the front seat of the car
* Every time I go to the store I come home with a new toy or
treats
* He always has a play date with his "best friend" Hogan, the
Wimeraner
* He too only eats the best food along with some human food
* Of course, he has a Harley Davidson collar, leash, and toy boot
in honor of himself :D
* He even gets to go to work with daddy sometimes in his police
car
* He gets to be on mommy's new furniture that I swore he would
never be on
* And tomorrow we're going to get him a kitty

I would say all those dogs are spoiled. I hate to leave mine at home alone, I feel so bad, so he comes along just like Harley he even comes to work with me sometimes and sleeps under my desk, everybody thinks its funny that we have a puppy running around an attorney's office. But oh his grandparents are bad too, my mom has a dog and when we leave her house Doc leaves with a new bone or toy. When my mom goes to the store she buys something for her dog and mine. It is so funny how we treat our dogs better than ourselves.... You gotta love those babies!!!!!!!!

A kitten for Harley?

Shannon - please tell me the kitten is not a chew toy!!

Ginger ate Mc Donald's ice cream for the first time yesterday, how can you NOT spoil your babies?!? Even Buddy - he is like 90 lbs. He thinks he is a lap dog. If you sit on the floor - he is right on your lap - that is the problem with a Boxer/ Rott mix - they are so heavy!! Ginger and Angel are the same way, like"Oh you are sitting down? Now that your lap is availible I have a place to sit! Thanks mom!"

PS I LOVE those mall pictures -they are the cutest!!

Mine are spoiled beyond repair!!

*My two sleep in a king size bed

*Watch a 56"screen projection television (Animal Planet while I am away)

*They are allowed on any piece of furniture in the house.

*Get home cooked meals

* Get a new cow ear, trachea, nose, or bully stick (bedtime snack)
everyday-I buy in bulk!

* I put ice chips in their water for when they come inside from a hard play.

* They get a new toy everytime we visit petsmart or I find something on the internet

*Mercedes and I have matching mother-daughter outfits for special occasions (OK, I know that is weird, but it is cute too!!)

* Endless amounts of kisses everyday.

*THey have an unlimited amount of forgiveness for any mistakes they may make (not often, they are pretty close to perfect, IMO)

* They have my heart for LIFE!!!!

Buddy
*goes everywhere I go, that I can possibly take him (sitting in front in his own seatbelt)
*eats the best food (plus some of everything I eat;) )
*sleeps with us, sharing my pillow
*sits on my lap off & on when I'm on the computer, even though he's 50 lbs. now
*sits on any piece of furniture he wants to
*also took him to mall to get pics taken, just don't have a scanner so I haven't posted them yet:(
*his TV is always on Animal Planet (which he watches, proof in my gallery:p)
*lots and lots of toys, toys, treats, treats
*I get ice-cream, so does he
*never home alone more than a couple hours
*has free run of the house (with 1 room shut off, for music equipment and bathroom shut off also)
*I love on him all day long and love it!

Oh, almost forgot-he has his own webpage, but he has a better one in the works:)

And Laura-
Thanks for telling me your baby goes to work with you at an attorney's office! Now I have hope of taking Buddy with me when I graduate as a paralegal:DI'll have to find me a furbaby-loving attorney to work for!!:p

Here's a few indications:
I am sitting here at work, right now typing this, with an IQube under my shirt. It said to put it in dirty laundry to pick-up my scent. I figure 8 hrs. under my shirt should do the trick. I don't want to wait 12 hrs. to give it to her.

I just spent $1300 for a privacy fence for the backyard (front yard is chainlink). She now has the complete yard all to herself.

She has better health insurance than I do.

I won't answer the phone if she is sleeping, because I know if I get up she'll follow, and I want to make sure she gets her rest. Also, at night in bed, even if all my limbs are numb, I won't move if she's comfortable.

And sometimes when my bladder is about to explode, I will wait, so she can go potty first.

She has her own kitchen cupboard, shelf (for the books bought on her behalf), TWO toy boxes, seatbelt, sailor dress, etc.

I also let her have the last bite of whatever (with some exceptions) I'm eating.

These are just a few examples of knowingly spoiling Mabel. I'm sure I spoil her on a subconscious level too. (I should probably be committed for a little "vacation".)

But my justification is unlike skin children, I don't have possible decades to spend with her. So I'm going to spoil her everyday while I can.
