I love all your stories. I think we will be getting him the first week in March. Our breeder is 14 hours away, and will be coming our way at that time. We do have the option to travel and pick him up earlier, and are weighing it out. Of course I want him NOW! But it seems that there are advantages to waiting a little longer.

I still want him now, though :P

Tess was 16 weeks when I got her. My parents picked her up for me at 13 weeks, but couldn't fly her to me from TX until she was old enough to have her rabies shot.

Mine were rescues...

We rescued Titus from a pro-adoption shelter when he was 3. He was an owner surrender, so I had all his medical records, which is almost unheard of in a rescue. Lady was rescued from the streets and at the time, the vet decided she was about 2. So she is probably 5.

My sister bought Boomer for me for Christmas he was just about 9 weeks old!! He will be 4 months old on Valentines day. I cant believe how big he is getting, he was 12 lbs and on his vet visit yesterday he weighed 20.7!!! He his my first dog and has changed my life
