How old was your baby...

Utah was 8 weeks old when we bought him.He just had his first birthday and sometimes I think he is still just 8 weeks old.I might add that a boxer in your life will be quite a change from anything you have experienced in the past....ENJOY!!!!!You have come to a great place to learn about your new baby.These are the greatest people in the world.

We got Nina at 13 weeks.She was already crate trained by the breder and almost housetrained. Potty tarinning was a breeze. It would have been nice to have had her when she was smaller and oh so cute...but she was still as cute as a button at 13 weeks

We got Zeus from a friend and he was almost three. Isis we got her from a breeder and she was 9wks when we brought her home.

Grunt was 6 weeks old when we got him (he's 8 months now). Even though we love him to death and wouldn't trade him for the world, I wish we had waited until he was a little older. They need to be with their littermates to learn many behaviors. Grunt suffered from separation anxiety for a while after we brought him home. He would cry all night long! It made for some long nights, but it was worth every minute of it.

We got both at around 7 1/2 - 8 weeks. I love puppies!!! They're great until the hit the terrible 4 mos old stage then they start gradually getting good again around 9-10 mos.

We rescued Titan and his sister Zoey when they were 9 months old. At the time we also had a 10 yr old brindle male, Butkus- who passed away last year a few months after we got the new pups. Butkus was a rescue from the Humane Society when he was one year old. His human parents got divorced and the father had the child and couldn't handle the dog and child at the same time, so gave Butkus away. Butkus was how our boxer tradition got started--he was the best of dogs, loved everyone and was a joy to be around. (I miss ya Butkus, I know your up there somewhere just gassing up the heavens with some real stink bombs--you were good at that. Hope they got steaks up there for ya buddy!!)

Not much of a story to tell on Titan and Zoey really. Heard about a guy about an hour away who was going to destroy boxer pups if they weren't sold. I went off on him and told him my thoughts about his "place" he had and ended up with 2 free pups and he was at a loss of $800 since he asked for $400/dog. But as he put it- he wanted to "get rid" of the dogs b/c they were moving. Well he got "rid" of them alright and now they both sleep indoors- one on the couch and one on a comfy bed, both spoiled rotten the way boxer babies should be!!

Cinnamon was a day older than 8 weeks they didnt want me to take her that day..they wanted to wait another few days, but i convinced them to let me take her

Evie was just over 7 weeks, but the breeder told me she was 8 weeks!! I figured it out just after we got home and were re-reading her papers. I think he just mis-counted a couple of days. She is now 2 1/2 years old. Adam was 10 weeks and is now 21 months, he will be 2 in April. OMG how time flies!!

We got Cassius at just a couple days before 8 weeks. He was the only brindle left in the litter. No one wanted him because they had docked his tail too short. He was also the "runt", but he was the sweet little snuggle bum. He still is to this day.

When we got Katahdin, he was 3 days shy of being 8 weeks old. We first saw him in person when he was 2 weeks old visiting him every 2 weeks until we picked him up... memories of his little puppy days!
Sadie was 5 months old when we got her. She was with a family that had no time for her and were always putting her in her crate. She had a few bad habits but her and Katahdin hit it off great and are pals in every sense of the Boxer world!
