That is the best way to have kids, in my opinion, spoiling your nieces and nephews/granddaughters and grandsons! All the fun, none of the responsiblity. Works out well for me! :D

Hey Dan...

how do you get grandkids without having kids first? LOL :D

We have 2 of each (2 daughters and 2 boxers).

We would have had boxers first if our living situation allowed for it. Landlord didn't allow dogs. As soon as we bought our first house, we got our first boxer, Remy.

Tee Hee....

No, I don't have grandkids. But it is the same for people with grandkids as it is for me with my nephew.

Completely Boxer Crazy
My Babies...

I have Cooper who will be two May 11. Wendy who is 17 or something, I lost count. She's a geriatric beagle.

Fraternal girl/boy twins, Callie and Cole, who will be 5 May 16.

I can't believe my babies are almost 5! It makes me so SAD! It is also unbelievable that we've had Coop a year the end of this month but it also feels like he's always been here too! Speaking of, this is funny...

It is very difficult for Callie and Cole to realize that we actually had a life before them. So everytime they see a picture of us when we were younger they ask where they were. I finally told them that they were just twinkles in our eyes back then. So now they get down and squint at the pictures to try to see themselves in our eye twinkles. They also think that they were hiding under the full skirt of my wedding dress in our wedding portraits! ...feeling a bit sentimental here!

Ok, I have 3 "official" children, all boys (Christopher-almost 17, Scotty-11, and Cameron 3), but my "unofficial" child is my husband, Dan. I have two pets...Boomer, my sweet, loveable Boxer, and Baxter the tabby cat from hell. Today Baxter decided he was going to sleep in a clothesbasket full of freshly washed and dried towels...we let him remain there for several hours, because no one wanted to feel the wrath of "Baxter the Terrible".

In my case probably the biggest baby of them all and I have plenty!!!
I have three girls:7-5-3
A 14 year old dog of questionable decent, an 8 month old Boxer baby, 2 ten year old cats, and a 10 month old Holland Lop.
Trust me, if up to the rest of the family we'd just build a house at the San Diego Zoo. In fact when summer gets here the population always grows. The kids adopt every spider, grasshopper, toad, snake, etc. that they find. Most evenings after they are sleeping I am liberating some poor creature.

Super Boxer
Two grown children (son & daughter)
3 grandbabies ages 4 1/2 years, 2 years, and 9 months
Multitude of nieces/nephews
We love kids and spoil them all. ;)

One spoiled Boxer Oscar
One spoiled very alpha kitty Buster (who has become quite submissive since the introduction of Oscar  )

Steve (my hubby) and I are considering going into foster/rescue. I helped place a very sweet baby (5 y/o Spaniel mix female) with my folks over the weekend through a local rescue. The person from rescue and I hit it off very well. We are discussing the possibility of being foster parents first but who knows what the future will bring ......phase in to the year 2005....... Kim and Steve with 27 Boxers that have been in *foster care* for the last four years because we couldn't seem to find the *right* placement family for them. ;)
