Just wondering what is the most boxers any of you have had at one time? I've heard that boxers are like potato chips, you can never have just one! :)

Well, I just have the one .... but I am loving this breed so much, that if I didnt already have two other dogs, I am sure I wouldn't be able to resist getting another :)

I had my heart set on getting 2. Now I have two. Arabella and Bentley. I'm sure once this all settles of adding Bentley, I'll be entraining the thought of a third BUT I think we will never be more then a 2 boxer home. Financially I think two is the limit. These past few months between the 2,pups I probably could have bought a used a car or a giant diamond ring (lol) their worth it and I love it. But I don't think past 2 I could properly take care of their food and health needs. But if I struck it rich..... I would probably have as many as I was allowed by my county laws lol

Right now I just have Arabella, but I will be looking to rescue one later this summer. I have had 3 at one time, and I think that is my limit. They were all on different foods and one was on a different feeding schedule. Another had severe allergies. I don't know if I could have managed it all if I had to work on top of that. I also travel fairly frequently and with 3 it became a real challenge. I think I am going to stick with 2 for the future.

We currently have three. I also prefer a two Boxer household. Two is the limit financially. Three can stretch us beyond our means. But we have three right now because we got a puppy. My other two are five months apart and currently 8 years old. My male has rapidly progressing degenerative myelopathy and our female almost died this summer. The cause remains undiagnosed. Reoccurence of Lyme disease, immune mediated polyarthritis secondary to the Lyme disease, spinal infection. We do not know for certain but she pulled thru after 3 months of Doxycycline.

Anyway, we do not want to be down to one dog. All of our dogs have been raised with another dog and dont know how to be an only dog. Plus we wanted to bring in the puppy while our older ones could teach him the ropes. Which they have done.
