How long does it take to potty train?

this has really helped me. Minnie is doing well (12 weeks old) but I still had questions too. Harley was already trained when we got him @ 8 months old and so this was pretty new to us. Thanks!

He's such a good boy!

Earlier I posted about our first day with Kronk, but thought I'd add to the end of this thread that potty training is going very well already. We take him out often and he pretty much always goes. He only had two accidents in the house, one shortly after we got him home and one a few hours later. He hasn't wet his crate yet, which he's in most of the time because he likes it so much. Once again he is sleeping in it with the door open.

We went to bed at 10:00 and got up at 1:00 and 4:00 to let him out to go potty. (My daughter and I each took a turn and set our alarm clocks.) He finally started fussing continuously at around 7:00, so I decided it was time to get up.

I am thrilled with how the potty training is going so far. Couldn't ask for a better first day. "He's such a good dog!"

I had to call and tell my mom that because for months that's all I heard about her new Yellow Lab! Now I can say it about my new baby Boxer. "He's such a good boy!"
