How Long do I need to feed 3 Times a Day?

I have been feeding my 8 week olf 3 times a day. How long do I need to continue this for? If he does not finish his bowl I pick it up.

IMO a puppy should eat a minimum of three meals a day until around 6 months. Picking it up if he doesn't eat within 20 minutes or so is fine. For an 8 week old pup, I feed 5 times daily (though the last meal is really a snack).

Duke is 15 weeks and we feed him 3-5 times a day. Some days he picks at his food and other days he inhales it. I would expect him to eat frequently for the first year. They'll be growing quickly and putting on the pounds and will need the nutrition.

You are doing the rightthing removing unwanted food. I would continue with 3 for about 6 months .
I used to give little amounts of goodies too such as an egg or some cheese. or yoghurt is good too.
At 6 months I switched too adult food and lethim lead the pace which was 2 meals a day with treat at dinner time and evening time.
Buster actually changes his feeding habits regurly, at the moment he will only eat one meal day, but I expect this to change again soon. It all depends on if hes had a good run, or if hes bored with the usual kibble.
