We have to wake Rocky up, he doesn't wake us up. He takes forever to wake up too. He'll be sleeping in his crate and I'll wake him up and I swear it takes him 5-10 minutes to actually get up. He'll yawn, stretch, roll over, pick his head up & look around. Then when he's ready to get up he will. When he was really little he was up with any sound he heard. I guess he likes his bed and unless something is worth getting up for, he'll stay there as long as he can.

Tess turns on the touch lamp with her nose. :) Conner whines until I get up.

Unfortunately for us, Athena will still get us up to go outside...even if it is pouring outside. She just wont step foot outside once we open the door for her. Up until she actually has to get wet, she's gung ho on getting outside.

My two will lay in their crate until I come downstairs to wake them up...
Troop is immediatly ready to go....Rox? PLEASE>>> usually I just open her crate and tell her it is time to get up, she looks at me with one eye and then back to 'la la land' so, I just let her wake up on her own terms....she is the quiet one in the morning like her Mom...

Harry would never wake me up. He is a good boy who loves his Mommy and wants to sleep right at her feet forever. :) Seriously, I used to have to *drag* him outside to potty before I went to work. And then....Sophie. She is up and about at 5:30 am on a late day! She will do whatever it takes to get me up and making her breakfast. The cutest tactic she has is to come about two inches from my face and stare until I wake up. Once she is eating, Harry comes into the kitchen for his breakfast. He doesn't want to miss out!

Max has started jumping onto the bed and laying down in the middle of us... when he was wee it was alright, not now when hes turning into a big boy!

Most of the time, just her getting up, stretching and shaking (her jowls are loud!) will wake one of us up. If it doesn't she does a low whimper. Kevlar scratches at their gate to add to the noise. :)

usually im the first one up in our house and as soon as i pick up my head he stretches gives a little shake and hes ready to go out side. On the occasion that my wife gets up to take him out as soon as he comes back in he just puts his head on my bed either in my face or to the back of my head and sighs until i get up. I dont understand why he lets my wife sleep in but not me.

BooBoo comes to my side of the bed...we take her collar off at night, she shakes her head, flapping her ears so the sound of her ears will wake me up. No whinning, just ear flapping. My husband takes her out, but she knows he'll never wake up- she wakes me up so that I can in turn wake him up! Smart dog!
