Completely Boxer Crazy
Clara is always in someone's lap. Once she's too big for that, she'll be in the backseat by herself. The only time she's in the car is when she's going to the vet or the park though. Other than that, we walk!

Mine wear safety harnesses unless we go on long trips then they have ride in their crates. They're like children and after so long of riding in safety harnesses they start picking at each other.

Nikki is always on someones lap or in the back seat of the truck, poking her head out the backglass. We have been looking for one of the doggie seatbelts though.

Corky's Mom

Boxer Booster
Corky never gets in the way when we are driving. She stays in the backseat of my car or rides in the back of the SUV. She loves to go places and we rarely go anywhere without her, so she is always very calm.

Super Boxer
Oscar rides in the boot of the car behind a dog guard. He likes to be on the back seat but has a tendancy to lean through to the driver and proceed to lick you and carry on so he is much safer in the back!

Mandi sits in the front passenger seat and Lexi rides in the back on my kids laps or if she is alone with me she wears a safety harness. They are both very good in the car.
Speaking of the car, just last night I took Mandi with me to Seven11 to get cappucinos and the owner of the store asked if she was mean because she looked it. He said she has such a big head. I told him she wouldn't hurt a fly. She just looks mean. There goes another "knucklehead".

Definatly a Harness!!

I learned first hand last fall just how dangerous it was to allow Kailee to ride unrestrained in the backseat of my car. Fortunatly she was not hurt, but she was thrown up into the front seat upon impact. Had the impact been any harder she may very well have hit the windshield or gone through it. As well, the thrust of her coming into the front seat was a contributing factor to my injuries being somewhat worse than they may have been. So definatly she is restrained, I only had to see the danger once.

Princess usually sits in the front passenger seat and sleeps in the car. She has been with us in the car for so many trips she is used to it. BUT....after reading Jean's post I am definitely going to get a harness this coming weekend!
(Thanks for the tip)
