How do I get my puppy to take panacur

Help! Our 17 week old pup has worms, yuck! I picked up some panacur from the vet but I can't get her to take it! We are suppossed to give her 6 cc's and it's taken me 45 minutes to get her to take half of it...she keeps fighting me. Any suggestions?

Maybe you can put it in something she really likes. Boxers are known for their love of peanut butter!

Thanks. I was thinking about that but it just seemed wierd b/c it's a liquid. I guess I can make a panacur and pb paste. I just want to make sure it all gets in her b/c those suckers need to go! I will not be eating spaghetti our bean sprouts for a very long time.

Do you have a syringe, without the needle? Just squirt it down between the teeth and side of the mouth.

I do have the syringe w/o the needle...after she got one taste she started she decided she would have no more! I did finally get the rest into her, I had to make a surprise attack while she was sleeping. I felt so bad, she gave the most unhappy (but cute) look once she realized what I did. Now I just have to do two more times!

panacur also comes in granules that you put in their food

We mixed ours in with plain no fat yogurt. He loves it and now we even can put pills in there and he just laps it all up!
