Not a problem.

Suma was almost Bailey. Some of our other picks were Ouzo (greek liqueur), Moonshine, Cognac, Baccardi and (of course) Chivas.

We now reserve the licquor names for the cats.

When you are ready, I think we should go to the bar and try each one whose name might be appropriate just to make sure they taste good. We certainly wouldn't want to name your dog after a bad tasting licquor!! Now would we???

Tia is indeed parrot----And it is also common name back in India.

When we got Sohshee we couldn't agree on a name. I like girly names and my husband didn't want a "person" name. I was outside at about 4 in the morning with her (bathroom break) and I just said "come on Sohshee". I have no idea where it came from it just sounded right. I spelled it Soshe but everyone said it wrong so I had to start spelling it Sohshee. I love the names Tyson, Lennox, Layla and T-ko for boxers....

Elwood -- Yup, that's what my son decided to name his pup! A lot of people say, "Huh?" what kind of a name is that for a boxer? He's named after Elwood J. Blues, one of the Blues Brothers...

Speaking of human names, if you had a female boxer you could name her Barbara. Get it? Barbara Boxer!:D

Anyway, I think it's just fine to give your pet a human name. We even have a cat named Pasquali.

I love Tallulah, and wanted to name Lexi that and call her Lu Lu, but my husband hated it! So, her name is Lexi Lu Lu Bell. She'll come to Lexi, Lu Lu, Le Le and Momma. I actually always loved the name Lexi for a child, but everyone always says Lexi Lee sounds like a porn star name. Does not!!

Scout's name is easy -- from my favorite book "To Kill a Mockingbird." I always said if I had a daughter that's what I'd name her, but it just seemed to fit him. His middle name is Bubaloo, after his father Elvis Bubaloo. He comes to me when I call him Scout, Scoutie or Boyfriend. And if I ask the question, "Who loves me?" he comes running! That's my boy!

Faith(Faithful) was named already by her breeder because she would sit and wait patiently to be fed and would sit next to the breeder and "protect" her from her littermates, so i just stayed with the name...and many nicknames have been given over the years. I named Jackson after my fave Australian basketballer Lauren Jackson, he's also called Master Jackson, Jacky, and Fatty Jacky:D
