Boxer Pal
I am pretty sure that Bruno has hot spots on his paws. I think that they are allergy induced. He never had them until after we boarded him for the first time in his 4 1/2 years (go figure!). He came home with a couple of oozing leisions on his rear legs in the exact same spot on both sides. They are healed up but still bald.
I know that you are supposed to keep the spots dry and clean, but that is impossible to do seeing as how they are on his feet. A couple of the spots have opened up and are oozing from pretty small leisions (2-3mm in diameter). I started using Sulfodene yesterday and am going to pick up some Benadryl today.
Does anyone have any experience with this or know of any over the counter medication that might be better than Sulfodene? I would appreciate any input and advice
Thank You,
Mags
