Hi. Missing Link is a nutritional supplement and also Nupro. I like Missing Link better for Ali..she loved Nupro but it made her poop mushy.

Boosting a dog's immune system is primarily about good quality diet and exercise, and removing stresses from his environment. You would not, for example, give vaccinations or elective surgeries (including spay/neuter) to a dog with a supressed immune system. Those are serious stresses, and counterproductive if what you're trying to do is boost or rebuild a compromised immune system.

On diet, raw or homecooked is probably best. But alternatively, a very high quality kibble and supplements if necessary/appropriate. I wouldn't personally give missing link to a dog that suffered certain allergies and/or frequent yeast infections - but it can be useful for most others.

Missing Link????

My pup Yogi has D-mange. Just diagnosed 1-25-06. I have been doing so much research on it.
What exactly is Missing link?

I have a baby with a compromised immune system...so when I heard about Missing Link I rushed on the internet and had a small bag delivered. Sampson DID NOT do well on this. He appears to be "component" sensitive and, like premium kibble, there was something in there that didn't agree with him.

Good luck in your research!! You have come to a great place to find what you need to know.
