Yeah... somehoe the talk about the spring bash died. Now we're at the end of summer and still no bash :( I guess Tyson'sMomma got a little tired of being the leading lady in the whole thing.

There is an event at Sportworld in Kitchener called Surf Dogs on Sunday September 11th. It raises money for the Humane Society. It is the very last day the wave pool is open this year so they hold a fundraiser and the dogs get to go swimming (I don't believe the waves are turned on). I went last year and it was soooo fun. Wouldn't be a total Boxer Bash, but it would be fun to see some other ones there. May be some of you could make it!!!!!

Paws In The Park

Oh oh; I think I missed the pool party -- but I wanted to let everyone know that on September 25 (Saturday) THS is having their annual Paws In The Park walk/ fundraiser at Downsview Park in Toronto. Chloe and I have been fundraising - we're at $230 so far....

But - come out and do the 5 km! There will be lots of dogs - and lets hope lots of silly Boxers!

Did you go to the Sportsworld event? I would have loved to go but we were out of town the last few days.
However, Molly and I will be taking part in the upcoming wiggle waggle walk a thon.
I would love to meet others and perhaps get Molly some new friends if anyone is interested.

I did go to Surf Dogs at Sports World, it was so great!!!!!! Laila had a blast playing in the water and chasing the waves!!!!! There was also about 8 other boxers there, so that was awesome to see as well!!!!!! I am planning on going to Doggietoberfest(?). It is on Saturday October 8th at Binnegman's. It is supposed to be great, lots of activities for dogs and special treats for them too. Will only cost $5 to get in per dog. All the info is on the K-W Humane Society Website. It would be great to see other Boxer's there as well. Letty, if you can't make it there may be we could make arrangements to meet at the Dog Park one day. Laila loves to make new friends!!!!!!!

its not that I didnt like the idea of organizing it, it was the cost of insurance to get an indoor venue. I can get an indoor venue now but the limit is 10 dogs. Should we open this back up for discussion? let me know..
