Hot Dogs for Training

While reading through a lot of Boxer World, I have noticed that a lot of people used cut up hot dogs as treats to train their dog. That won't make them sick?

Training treats are generally cut up into very small pieces. It also probably depends on the dog - Layla can't cope with too much hot dog, but is fine on baked liver, cheese or roast chicken (in the 'higher value' treat range). The others can have hot dog with no problems. I tend to mix up my treats, depending on what we are training. I guess it also depends how much training you are doing when looking at treat intake
