Horrible Day

As coming home from work today,my neighbors little chihuahua C.C. ran under my car,I never saw her but felt her when I hit her,all the kids were out playing & saw what happened,I ran in the house to get my husband, I was a total wreck by then I could barely talk,my husband ran out & got C.C. but she died in his arms,we were both crying.John wrapped & buried her. I feel so bad this happened, its hard for me to cope with, my head feels like its in a vice. SO please say a prayer for C.C. & my neighbors. Hanley

I am so sorry, that must have been horrible for you. We hit a dog only a few weeks ago and it died, it just ran out of nowhere and we couldn't avoid it. It was a very traumatic experience; I understand your pain. There was nothing you could have done.... I really feel for you and your neighbors.

A similar experience happened to me years ago. There is absolutely nothing you can do when an animal just runs out in your path like that. I know you feel horrible about it!

I feel so sorry for what happened! I can only imagine how you must be feeling, but you have to know that it was not your fault and there is absolutely nothing you could have done to prevent it. When they run out in front of you (or into/under your car) you can't even see them, especially a little guy like C.C. Just think, a little girl or boy in heaven probably needed C.C., that's what I always feel when a pet dies. Take care of yourself.

Thank you, for your kindness & hugs,& I hope there was a child waiting for C.C. with open arms.I just wonder why it had to be me that ran over him,I would never hurt any animal or child on purpose,but I did & I could not prevent it,I know it was Gods plan not mine,we are not always in control like we think we are.
