Hooray for Boxer World!!!

You know, If you think about it Boxer World is a really really cool site, I mean you can talk with people from every state in the U.S. and people from all over the globe. It really is a tool for connecting one another and promoting communication among people from all races/ages/nations. It has provided me with tons of information, and also some really great ideas. If only the rest of the world could be like it is in Boxer World! This is all brought about by one thing, and that's the love each and every one of us has for our Boxer I really appreciate this place, and am sure glad it's here. Hooray for Boxer World!

Adding my thanks to the list.

I have been apart of two other boards and they did not compare. There are so many different reasons why I like it here (that I will not bore you with). I do understand the hardwork and dedication of all the people who make this happen. Cuddos to all moderators and administration.

I want to add my thanks too! appicon I want to share a little thing that happened today and how BW helped me. (mainly because i live alone and katie was not too interested ) anyhow, i was talking with a couple of the new girls at work. one of them said she would like to get a dog but was unsure of how to go about obtaining one. Well, of course i hop up onto my soap box and tell her not to go to pet store or any BYB's, well she askes what are BYB's and i explain. i tell her about my own experience, how my katie was bought at a pet store, , and how even though she was only a couple of hundred, it has cost me SO much more since then, because she is not healthy. Then i told her about reputable breeders and how they operate (which i found out about on here! ) and she said she wants a German Shepard, well, i tell her that GS's have their own rescues (like boxers) and that she should look into that if she wants a specific type of temperments.
ANyhow, long story short, i got to educate a person on responsible ownership of a dog. Someone who was willing to listen and had an open mind. If i hadnt been a part of this website, and learned so much about good breeders and rescues, there might be another person out there that might have perpetuated a BYB.

So THANK YOU to all people on this site, for your caring of each other and this fabulous breed. And a special TY to the moderators for making this a safe and enjoyable place to be.
