Completely Boxer Crazy
I think if the Timberwolf Ocean Blue doesnt work for him (should be getting it any day now), my next step is RAW. I am grossed out by most raw meat, so the Honest Kitchen seems like it would be the best option for me...and the next best thing for Roscoe :)

Boxer Insane
Just a quick correction, it actually hydrates to 43 lbs. :) So, $1.16 - $1.70 per lb., which really is comparable to the high-end kibbles, and way cheaper than most prepared raw.

You're right. 43, not 30. I didn't remember it being that outrageously priced when we tried it before, but saw it on the shelf and had 30 lbs stuck in my head. :) Thank you for the correction.

Bravo + inexpensive RMBs bought from the butcher is a little cheaper for us than THK. Bravo alone would be more expensive, for sure. I think we pay about $2-3/lb, depending on the meat type and quantity.

I think it sounds like you should give it a try. It's the perfect food for what you want out of it. I'll keep my fingers crossed that your dogs aren't food snobs like mine. :)
