I'm sure Lola and Zeb will be fine Tracey. Lola will love babysitting her little charge, and make sure he doesn't get into any mischief..They'll probably just snuggle up and have a good kip 'till mummy gets home....Then they'll go berserk ...Give those two babies a kiss from me and Millie, for being so good, while home alone.

Well I got up much earlier than usual and was out walking them at 6.15am (separately). By the time I'd left for work Lola had done her business (she only goes twice a day, morning and evening, poo I mean) Zeb goes twice in the morning though and twice in the evening and he'd only done the one poo by the time I left at 8am so I was worried.
I left the kitchen roll in the conservatory and the mop & bucket out & filled with disinfectant just in case my neighbour had something to clean up.

Anyway she text me at 1pm to say my Dh was already home from work as he'd been rained off. When I got home Dh said he got home at 9.30am and there was a nice pressie waiting for him and a pool of wee. So even though I'd only left an hour and a half earlier Zeb had done a poo & a wee in the house.
Tomorrow is supposed to be ok weather wise so Dh won't be coming home early.

Oh well these things can't be helped I guess and I should think myself lucky that I have my mum with them normally.
My friend also works a full day like me at school on a Wednesday and mum is now not coming back until Thursday now.
Gee this is stressfull and mum's going away for a week in October too :( but thanks for your words of encouragement :)

Oh well you have one more day before your mom comes back, Zeb is still young by the time your mom goes away again he will be house trained totally Foreman is 14 months old and can be left alone(with Harley) all day with no accidents now.

Just to let you know that my friend came over at 12.30pm and Zeb hadn't done a thing in the house appicon
When i got home from work at 3.15pm Lola & Zeb were in the garden with my friend and her dog. Zeb did a poo about 3.30pm so maybe if he knows he has to hold it longer he can?

Oh well the test is tomorrow when I have no one to come let them out until I get home after 3pm :(

appicon Yeah Zeb!!!

I am sure he will be fine tomorrow!! When Foreman was his age and I left him alone for the day which wasn't that much I would limit his food and water intake, it seemed to help. We worry so much about them in the day and really they are holding it all night so they are capable if they want to be.

Just thought I'd let you know that this morning I contemplated throwing a sickie as Lola & Zeb would be left for a long time without being let out (first time ever for this long) and they'd be all alone. I then came to my senses and thought right you've just got to do this Tracey.
I left at 8.15am, I tried stalling my co worker giving Zeb extra time to do his last pee  I got back home at 3.20pm (couldn't kick the kids out the class quick enough so I could shoot home :)) and he'd done 1 pee on the floor and that's all. I was so pleased with him and bent down to fuss them and they both were so pleased to see me they ended up knocking me right over.

Mum's back tomorrow at about 11am so I better warn her that they'll probably go ape and knock her over, they haven't seen their nutty nan for over a week.

I've got it all to go through in October again though when she goes away for the week :(

Mum is home

Yep nutty nan is finally home, she came home yesterday while I was still at work. She said the dogs went berserk when she walked in and last night they slept on nanny's bed with her :)

We all really missed her so much especially Lola & Zeb.
