Holy Bug's Ear Batman, the Moose is eatin em

Oscar favors "june bugs" which we have a lot of right now. They are slow moving and he can swat them down and get them on their backs. Plus, they are good and crunchy!

A couple of nights ago, one very large, agressive bug turned the tables on him and fought back. It would up grabbing onto Oscar's puppy nose and he ran around like mad whining until I could catch him and knock if off.

Didn't stop him though - he's out there every night on June bug patrol.

Yup!!!
Moose just loves those beatles. Crunch Crunch. Yuck!!!

At leat he is my hero when it comes to bugs. I do not like to find them crawling on the carpet. Big Moose just ponces on it and gets rid of them.

This year is really bad for some reason.

Moose will be 2 years old in August. Last year, I didn't see him do that.

Jade once came in the house crunching on something and i opened her mouth to find the remains of a snail and its shell. YUCK. i took it away and she was very disappointed, but lately she has been chasing flies.

chases crickets!!

Every night Dutch goes out to chase Crickets!! it's so fun to watch, her ears just perk up and she prances around chasing them... we try to keep an eye on her because we have tarantulas and black widows... but she has fun with all the little crawlers in our yard. It cracks me up! When she gets them, she eats them. oooh, yucka!
