Hodie won't eat

Hello all. We got a new puppy and we're finding a few things with our older dog that seem odd to me. Any advice would be great!
We brought a 12 week boxer puppy home on Tuesday and we think we did everything right. We had Hodie (also a boxer, he's almost 3 years old) meet her on neutral ground and they got along well. Actually, the puppy was jumping all over Hodie and he just looked at her with a "you're so immature" face. We then had her come into the house and roam around without Hodie here, so she could get used to things. They've been getting along okay for the past two days, but I'm a bit concerned about Hodie.

1. He's only eaten once since she came home. We saw that the puppy tried to eat out of his bowl when we put it down, so I've been crating her when it's time for him to eat, but he still has no interest in his food. He's drinking water though.
2. When the puppy is out, she goes to his bed and lies down on it. Hodie won't go on his bed when she's on it, and he seems to be avoiding lying down on it even when she's not around. We've been making a big show of moving the puppy off the bed to make it clear to her and to Hodie that she doesn't belong there.

We've been giving Hodie tons of attention since she got here, a lot more than he got even before we got the puppy!

I'd be forever grateful if we could get this figured out!

Quick update on this situation:
Hodie let me hand feed him most of his dinner in the presence of the puppy (who we've now named Daisy.) She snapped up the few pieces of kibble that he dropped. I put his bowl down so that he might eat the rest on his own time, but he didn't touch it. BUT, when my wife took Daisy out to pee, he finished all of the food in his bowl. I put his bowl down this morning while Daisy was in her crate, thinking that he might only eat when she's not around, but no luck. I had to hand feed him again.
