Starting new years eve zoey had gotten 3-5 of what i believe to be hives. We figured they would just go away by morning so we left it go. Woke up friday morning and there was more like 15-20 of these hives. We gave her two 25mg benadryl with her breakfast, 2 more in the early afternoon and 2 more around 11pm last night. Woke up today and it's still the same. Do i give her more benadryl or go to the vet??

I don't think those are hives - or at least, your pictures sure don't look like hives. Those look more like little bald patches on hard bumps, whereas hives are larger & soft fluid-filled lumps that don't affect the skin/hair. They also appear to be restricted to a line down her back, whereas hives are more likely to affect the whole body or (if localised) the face.

In any case, if benadryl isn't working, and the bumps are continuing to appear then it seems clear that (a) whatever is causing them was not a one-off event like a bug bite, but is ongoing; and (b) you need a diganosis and some treatment other than benadryl. That all points fairly clearly to a vet visit, I think.

sorry, the bumps raise her hair and her hair points to the back. When i took a picture from behind it appears as bald spots. The first pic below was taken at the same time i took the other 2, you can't see the bumps but she doesn't have bald spots. The second pic is not our dog but thats exactly what her bumps look like. They are basically down her back and a few on the sides of her chest.
