Hills Z/D recommended by Vet, now loose stools

Hi, does anyone have experience with this perscription dog food? My Vet recommended this after Gunther that three consecutive bouts with what appeared to be colites, then pancreatis, then she guessed maybe food allergies. Gunther finally feels better, has energy and a good appetite, but his stools are very loose. He has been on this diet for a month. I have a call into the Vet regarding this also, but wanted hear back the board on this, too.

I'm sure a more educated person on here can tell you why or why not to feed your dog this as it may have some type of need due to the issue you have... but it's crap food with very little nutrients that they charge you an arm and leg for...

If it is truely just allergies that is the issue, try a grain free food such as blue buffalo or Orijens and see if that helps... but I want to say I'm not a vet nor an expert so if there is a medical condition going on check with your doctor and see if they have a problem with trying one of those better quality grain free foods. In fact, print out that review of teh Z/D food and show it to the vet. I've found that most vets don't even know they are selling such a crap quality food...

Again, maybe a more educated person on here can show cause to feed any dog this product.
