My guy Loki, broke a lower canine about 2 weeks ago, and after researching possible outcomes I decided to have it removed. There is a veterinarian in our area that specializes in dentistry. Needless to say, Loki ended up having 11 teeth removed. It turns out that boxers often have either hidden teeth in some parts of the mouth and too many in others. Since the surgery Loki has been like a puppy again, not that he wasn't full of vinegar before but he just seems happier. The vet said that the structure of braceocephalic breeds mouths leads to this crowding, and can be quite painful. I was just wondering if anyone else has dealt with this issue, and if they've seen an improvement in their dog too.
