I have a 10 wk old male boxer and he hiccups everytime after he gets done eating/drinking....I know it seems normal but its literally everytime and usually for like 20-30 min is this normal of boxer pups?

Yes, it's normal! Tyler did this for a long time and i had the same concerns. It gradually got less and less. He is a year old now and it hardly ever happens.

My boxer does this all the time, I was scared at first too, but then I found it was normal. Now it's just like everything else he does....cute!

I think the puppy hickups are really cute. My puppy used to get them a few times a day when I first brought him home too; they would last up to about 10-15 minutes. It has been 6 weeks now and he only gets them a couple times a week. I think they are a pretty funny part of puppyhood.

some one told me that hiccups are a sign of a growth spurt. i don't know if this is true or not, but it certainly seems like it! all of my puppies have gone through noticeable growth spurts after i've noticed a couple days of extreme hiccups!

Yep my Isaac too Hiccups when he gets nervous ... think it's cute also but
yea for every hiccup they could be growing, heard they grow when they
stretch too ; ) I think he'll grow if he hiccups or not and or stretches

I would say this is normal, but I'm no expert, just a Boxer owner also... Rocky gets them all the time, after drinking and eating also... still does to this day... he's 6 months now and still doesn't fail to produce a good batch of hiccups after eating/drinking...

hang in there... I'm pretty sure it's normal...

our adult female doesn't hardly ever hiccup, in fact I dont think I've ever seen her once do that... so maybe just pups...

 Oh, the memories of Biff's wee baby hiccups!

Yes, perfectly normal, just check he's not eating too fast though, :)

I think it's quite normal. My puppies have always outgrown them. But they sure are fun to watch when they are little!

Aw, I miss the puppy hiccups after reading this thread! I think Grumpy grew out of hers completely by 4 months old, but I remember being so worried about her before I knew how normal it was.
Grumpy used to get them when she woke up from a nap - it was the funniest thing to watch, she'd look at me with big eyes wondering what on earth was going on!
