We will be first time boxer owners and are very excited. Our past experience as dog owners has been with AmStaffs. We loved our Staffies but due to breed banning and discrimination by homeowners insurances we decided not to get another Staffie. In doing our research Boxers are said to have that same active playful attitude that we loved in our Staffies with out the stigma.

Hi Stevie & welcome to BW! It's very sad how certain dog breeds are being dicriminated these days. I had a wonderful rottweiler and would have LOVED to have gotten another, but since they are not allowed in alot of communities & insurance reasons, we decided not to get another one.

Welcome to BW. We also owned and love staffords. It is a shame the way it is. I had boxers in the past but we got a stafford because we knew it was just a reputation. They are a great dog as are boxers. You will be pleased. Have fun, you now have the best resource known to man!!

I hope you find the joy that i have found in having boxers they are wonderful dogs and their playful side is great. they are hyper but in a good way their cute faces with those big drooly cheeks its very hard to look at puppy without going awww how cute. good luck in finding your puppy
