Hi! I'm Tazi!
I have two very sweet boxers, and I am so happy to have met a group of people who love their boxers as much as I love mine!

My babies:

Rusty "cornbread" brindle docked male, born 8/16/1998
Very sweet, loves to hug and kiss by putting his paws on your shoulders, does the tightest kidney bean dance I have ever seen! Who could've thought a dog could turn himself into the letter c and still move around! He talks. He is afraid of anything and everything except riding in my car and my other boxer, Tobias. He loves cornbread!

Tobias, Tobie, "mountainboy" brindle docked male, born 10/15/2000
Sweet but very much the troublemaker, don't tell him NO, because he gets that look in his eyes, "I'm gonna do it anyway!"...
He doesn't talk, he howls and moans and groans, it is too funny!
He loves dirt, and will go grab a mouthful from one of my potted plants and dump it on the rug.
He isn't afraid of anything!

Welcome to the forums! Looks to me like you have the best of both worlds in your two boxer personalities! Makes for a good mix.
We are owned by our 2 yr old female brindle Kailee. Kailee is a love and very affectionate, sounds a lot like your Rusty's personality.
Can't wait to hear all of your stories about Rusty and Tabias.

Hi Tazi! And welcome to the board. I think you'll like it here :D There is a lot of good information and some great stories about everyone's fur-babies!

Hello Tazi,
My Tobee has a little bit of both your boys personality. He is afraid of anything new, but other wise very easy going. He moans and groans and makes lots of wierd noises. He gets into trouble, if I am not paying attention to him. Tobee is just a typical boxer:)
Welcome to the board.

cars.

Hello Tazi, welcome to our Boxer world.
I am surprised about not liking cars, Sergeant gets excited as soon as we get the car keys off the hook, as if we say no you can't come today we get treated to some very black looks. He talks to us, or tells us off more like it nonoicon , he is like a little old man without any teeth, his lips go over his teeth and he natters away at us, I wish that I could get a photo of him when he does that!
He is nosey! He puts his head right into any bag to see what there is in it.
We always like photos of our 'families', Olly is busy getting a new photo gallery together at the moment but when it is all done we will be able to see all of the 'old' and new fur babies.

Thanks to everyone who responded! But Helene, I wanted to say that Rusty LOVES to ride and maybe I didn't say it right! One time I looked at him standing in the hall and said "wanna go ride?" and he did this bucking bronco leap and knocked the hall rug halfway up the wall!
It must be a boxer trait to stick noses in bags because both Rusty and Tobie have to sniff everything that comes in from the store, in a bag or not. It is so cute!!

Sayde Lynn, my fawn female, used to dance in circles in a U shape when I came in the door, or when I just started talking to her. They cut her tail too short so I thought she just did that because she had nothing to wag! I was wrong, my 6 week old puppy does it now, it's funny what a prissy personality she has being so young. Sayde would get her head caught in brown paper bags when you left them in the floor and then she would prance around with the bag on her head..I caught her on film, it's hilarious! Well, welcome to the board, your babies sound just like all of ours! Hope to hear more about them!

kirsty H

Hi from Greece!

Hello! I am kirsty, the proud mum of Nora(my nanas name to please my mum,as i also have a maltise called lewie after my grandad) She is a 9 weeks old brindle bitch, and although i am English,we all live in greece.
I saw Nora for 2 wweks in the window of a pet shop(unfortunatly thats how they do it here)and fell in love with her. I have had 3 wonderfull boxers over the years, adored each one, but after loosing the last one "J.R" i said i would nt have another one as the heartache was to painfull. But i kept thinking of her falling into the wrong hands here in Greece,as they are frightened of big dogs, and there way of teaching them,is to say the least harsh. So here she is! Lying on the bed, curled up with Lewie, and i just cant stop my self from cuddleing her all the time!(of course not leaving my little lewie out!)
I am looking forwards to all the fun we will have,as i think they are the most rewarding, fun, and loveing breed there is!!(just dont tell my little independent Lewie i said that!)
So Hi to every one out there in boxer world from a brand new member!
