General questions
Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome! It is nice to know I can ask questions from experienced dog owners. I'm going crazy! This is my first dog and I have to wait 1 1/2 weeks to pick him up!! In the meantime, I'm trying ton keep busy by getting ready for him. I bought his crate which is the life stages brand and I want to get some chew toys so he'll have things to play with. I was also thinking about getting him some bones. I guess my questions are these: What toys are good to get(I already know about string toys and stuffed animals being a no no), what bones are good(nylabone, real bones and what kind), down to the bed type for the crate. My husband thinks I'm a WACKO
I've waited for a dog for 16 years and I can't wait to have one. Any other suggestions would be very helpful! Thanks!

I would stay away from greenies and edible nylabones because those both can be a choking hazzard.
