I've been looking through the forums on the board the last hour or so. What an awesome resource! I have to say I actually found this board searching on "boxers" and "farting" since we've had quite a time with our 7 month old boxer clearing the room. I'll definitely be trying yogurt in her food since so many people seem to have had success with it. Greta is our first boxer and came to us because a friend bought her and couldn't keep her. The problem with people buying puppies on a whim! We already had 2 adopted dogs (a 5 year old Belgian sheepdog and a 2 year old, 3 legged germ shep/aus shep/husky/whatever? mix) but decided we'd take on a puppy as well. Greta has been nothing but a lot of fun for us, other than the room clearing, eye watering gas.

Hello! Welcome to Boxerworld. We rotate Samson's food and have noticed a difference in his gas depending upon what food he is on. He also gets yogurt every day in his Kong.

Greta's pictures are very cute. It would be hard to say no to that face!!

Lots of fun and great info here.

One thing to keep in mind for the gas is the foods that are either cheap or have dyes in them. Almost a guarantee for gas.
