Hellow fellow Boxer lovers. I've recently adopted a year-old Boxer named Roxy. I'm her third owner! So she has some behavioral problems like incessant barking and heavy nipping but I'm determined to keep her (even though my neighbors are complaining about the barking). Well anyway, I'm glad I found this website and look forward to getting some good information on Boxers!

I am a first time Boxer owner too. However I got a European Boxer puppy (now 10 months old). He is the best. I can say that they are the best breed. You will have no problem curing the barking and nipping. The boxer is highly intelligent and will work to please you. Keep up with the training and the positive reinforcement and you will have the perfect dog in no time. Also, glad to see another So. Cal. boxer owner. Have you ever gone to the dog beach in Huntington beach. I went last weekend and Bodie just had a blast.

assume you're talking about the doggy beach at huntington? no, I've never been there and always wanted to try it. that would probably be a great way to get Roxy exercised--she's soooo active and playful!
