I just wanted to introduce my self and say thank you. I am the proud new owner of a fawn male, black mask with white markings and white socks named Jake. He is 8 weeks old and full of energy. My wife and I had been looking for a boxed for what seems like forever. The breeders we got him from were being unexpectidly relocated (due to business) out of state. He was only 6 1/2 weeks old when we brought him home. He has gotten a clean bill of health from our vet and is growing like a weed. He was 8 lbs. when we brought him home and 11 lbs. now.:D Thanks for all the great info. It has been a blessing in the first few weeks having all of you here. I have been able to find all the answers that new boxer parents have by reading other posts. I'll try to get some picts up soon .

Welcome to BW and congrats from us outside of Shelton, WA. I would love to see a pic of Jake when you get some posted. I have only had one boxer since he was a puppy and boy can they be a trial, but also lots of fun. :D

Hello from Jake to Jake

Hello there,

welcome to BW. I felt I had to say hello as our 3 year old is also called Jake.

He's a brindle with also 4 white socks. He sends big sloppy kisses across the Atlantic to your Jake.

I don't get time to visit this site as much as I'd like to but whenever I do it's full of great info and great people to chat to -ENJOY

Welcome and congrads on the new addtion. My boxer girl just turned 1 year this past week. You will love it here. I also was a new mom when i was adopted by Katrina and needed some help.
