Well, we don't actually have her yet, but we will be getting a precious fawn female in a few weeks! We're very excited and ready for our new addition to the family!

Although I've been around Boxers many times in my life, I've never owned one before. I joined this board to gain some additional insight in preparation to bring her home.

My hubby and I live in College Station with our boxer boy. He was raised in Huntsville and I was raised in Beaumont.

We live in Sugar Land. Our new baby girl is from San Antonio. She was bred by a very good friend of mine. I grew up in Pasadena and my bf grew up in Houston.

I've had many dogs of other breeds before. And my above mentioned friend had a boxer when we were growing up. I've also had other friends that had them. We already have a name picked out.....Laila after Muhammad Ali's daughter. (Get it? Female boxer :D )

That's cool - my dad grew up in Pasadena and my grandparents still live in Humble.

So glad you're here - Sugarland is a great place!!

This is definitely the place for you!

Thanks for the welcome! I've put 2 pics in my gallery that are pending approval. She's adorable!

I've read on here about pink noses turning black eventually. Her's already is in just over 4 weeks.
