We are the proud parents of Max (2) and Sadie (1). As first time boxer owners (and dog owners), this is site is just fantastic! I fell in love with breed when I met one at party and she didnt leave my side. I'm so amazed with their personalities and the constant entertainment, I can't imagine having any other kind of dog.

Welcome and I couldn't agree more! I love this site. We hadn't had a dog in about 10 years when we did some research and just loved the characteristics of the boxer. Well we got our female at 11wks (she just turned 3 yesterday). It wasn't that long and I convinced DH that we needed another and we adopted our male a year and a half ago. Now the whole family loves them. They have even converted my mom into a boxer lover and she is in the process of adopting from rescue in PA. Funny its a small world I'm originally from W-B/Scranton Area of PA.

I never knew how popular boxers were. I honestly don't think I ever saw one until that party so many years ago. Now we see them everywhere

Angie, I grew up about 45 min south of Scranton. I have tried SO hard to get out of PA and for whatever reason we always end up back here.

Hello and welcome to BW! This is such a great site! I am also in PA-near State College. I grew up in Erie, so I also seem unable to leave this state ha-ha! Glad you have joined BW!!

Ohhh I know Lewisburg, I went to college in Huntingdon.

DH was stationed in Florida, doesn't want to move back (I've tried.....I have a bunch of family that moved there last year). However, I am close to convicing him to move to VA beach.
