Hi Everyone - We are about to become proud owners of a female boxer puppy. We are very excited and have been trying to find out as much information as possible to prepare ourselves for our new addition. Any advice or suggestions would be so greatly appreciated!!

Hi Patty and congrats. I have a 9 week old female brindle and 15 month old male fawn. I'm originally from Jersey but now live in South Carolina. The advice I can give you is to give your boxer lots of attention. They absolutely love it. They are always eager to impress their owner. Have patience and shower her with love.

Thanks for the reply! I am very excited about becoming a boxer owner. This will be our first family dog! I have two children and a very big 1.5 acre fenced in yard, which is one of the reasons why I chose a boxer. I wanted a dog that needed space to run. I just think they are so cute too!! Believe me I've been reading a lot about the breed and I know what I'm in for. I'm a little nervous, but I think we will be o.k. I'm about to find out....

Well I have my first boxer pup in many years...forgot how fun they are everything I have read here is very helpful. The are so playful and loving animals, the head tilts..the BIG OLE sighs are too priceless. They do love to play and very curious. Good luck to you
