Hi from Mississippi!

Hi! My name is Sharon, I do not have a boxer (yet!) I am doing research on the breed to be sure I know what I am getting in to. My family & I live on a working farm, I have two boys 15 & 11. We have 8 broiler chicken houses, a lot of cows, 10 horses, a female pomeranian 6yrs old named Sugar & a female pug 4yrs old named Pebbles, they are both fixed. We also have 3 cats. I am sure I will have LOTS of questions!

Thanks in advance for all the help that I know you all will give me!

Anybody else live on a working farm & have had success with a boxer on the farm?

Hello and welcome to B.W. I am glad you are doing your research on the boxer breed. Although they are a wonderful breed they are not suited for everyone. I think having a farm would be great with a boxer. They need lots of room to run and exercise. Having 2 dogs already shouldn't be a problem. I had a small poodle before Ali came along and they do great together. There are lots of people here who have farms and can fill you in on all the details. Good luck!!
