thank you thors coping the best he can he keeps going to the window & door waiting for hera and hes whining wanting me to help him as of right now hes not infected but hes getting a booster shot at the vets office on the next visiting hour. trying to stay a step ahead!! i;m cleaning the carpets beds everything in the house and threw out all toys(oh boy now there will be new ones!!) husband is cleaning the yard with bleach solution any other ideas are welcome. thanks for the support

Parvo can live dormant in its environment for upwards of 5 years and come alive in the sping time.
The best you can do is bleach everything possible including the grass.
Grass will die off after bleaching but does eventualy regrow.
Parvo is most contained in dog poo so you need to be vigilant about cleaning and disinfecting those soiled areas.
Also so many folk dont realise that Parvo is carried onto the property on shoes etc or dogs can get contaminated by sniffing poo while out walking.

If your puppy survives parvo and at 5 mths she has a very good chance, she technically becomes immune for life.
You will also possibly never need to re vacinate either dog but I would suggest" titer" testing. Your vets will know about this.

i've got pics of my babies thor and hera i can't wait till 8am so i can call the vets to see how heras doing!!! please please be good news. thanks for all the vibes they carried me thru the night so i pray they did hera too. i took her favorite toy so she would feel alittle at home on the last visitation. i'll let everyone know how she is

i'm sad to say but hera did make it thru the night but by 9am the vet asked me to decided for hera. i couldnt do it my husband came home from work and did it. hera started bleeding internally and out of mouth and nose and the vet thought she was having pain. i love and miss her so much its not fair. how to tell my son(11)??? i don't understand so how will he. sorry for crying on everyones shoulder. thanks to all it really did help me last night.

we are soo sorry to hear about hera, i have a huge lump in my throat...........i cant imagine how you all must be feeling, you have one big shoulder here at bw, i truly believe that she is still there with you all.
