Hi everyone,
I have two boxer male pups. One six month fawn named 'Scooby' and one eight week old white named 'Jake'. I rescued Jake last week from being put asleep because of his colour!!! He was not vaccinated or cleaned and had a cold and all the other non-white pups in the litter were cared for though :-( . He is doing excellent now and is now part of our family, Scooby loves his new play mate . This site is fantastic Scooby is my first ever pet and Ive learned alot from bw.

How people can destroy an animal because of its colour is beyond me. What thoughts go through there heads or should I say lack of.!

Hi and Welcome to BW! Bless you for rescuing. My vet told me that the practice of putting white boxers to sleep just because of their colour was long gone, so I was so sad to read that it still goes on. Thank goodness you stepped in and gave Jake a chance! So glad you decided to join us...this site is amazing! :D

You must have your hands full. I have an 8 week old boxer and I'm also babysitting my brothers 4 yr. old Mastiff/Lab mix for the summer and my hands are full I just couldn't imagine two young dogs. Good luck to you!
