This is my first time on this site, so Iam unsure what I am doing so here goes, My family have just purchased our first Boxer, He is nine weeks old and a little boy called Murphy, he is Brindle coloured and adorable. I would be really interested in any hints on keeping him happy.

Welcome to Boxerworld, Annette and Murphy!

You're off to a great start by coming here! There is a forum dedicated to puppies (how to care for them, feed and train them, keep them from eating your socks... )

If you have specific questions or issues, you can do a search (the search button is up on the top right) for keywords to find threads which might give you some relevant advice or suggestions. And if you can't find an answer, just post a question! This is the place to come for answers, support and advice.

Best of luck with your lttle boy and can't wait to see some pictures! :D

(And to answer your question - to keep him happy, give him lots of love, good food, a warm bed, toys and PATIENCE while he learns to live by the rules in his new home.)

Hi Annette, welcome to the board and congrats on your new addition :)
If you need any info you can get it in various ways - you can perform a search on the site (little blue button on the right top corner), post a question and also visit a puppy page at www.boxerworld.com/puppy where you can find a few very helpful and informative articles.
Best of luck and please keep us posted with stories about your boxer boy :)

Welcome Annette & Family & Murphy,
plenty of hugs, kisses, toys and loving, but don't spoil him!!!!!!!:D   .
You are in for a lovely experience ......there is nothing like being owned by a Boxer, Murphy will soon have you all trained to do as he wants. Do you have any more pets besides him?
My sister lives in Christchurch, it is a beautiful County.

Hi Annette, welcome to you and Murphy! In order to keep him happy, give him lots of love and lots of playtime. Make sure he has tons of toys to play with, a bored puppy is a destructive puppy. Good luck and I can't wait to see pictures of him!
