Hello Everyone at BW

My name is Linda & my fiance is Darrell. We live in Ontario, Canada and have 3 children, my daughter Ashley and Darrell's daughter Giustina and son Dante. On Father's Day we got a new addition, our boy Hemi who was born on May the 7th. He is fawn with a docked tail and floppy ears.... and of course, he's gorgeous !!! He is our first boxer so we'll have a ton of questions (I already have a few in mind). I've been reading alot on this site since he came home, so I'm very happy to finally be a part of it. You all seem very nice and very knowledgeable, so thank you in advance for any help and insight I get from all of you. We have taken many pictures of Hemi already and next week we'll be posting them so we can share our photogenic boy with everyone LOL.

Where in Ontario are you from? We are in Windsor. Maisie Lynn, our Brindle puppy is our first boxer, our first dog too. I love this site. I'm not on every day but when I do enter I find it hard to leave. Looking forward to seeing a picture of your sweety Hemi.

Thank you everyone for the warm welcome.... I knew I'd luv this site!

To Blitz's Mama - we had him at the Vet last week and he weighed 11 1/2 lbs, I know he's grown since then already a pound or two. Why do you say yours is at a questionable weight? What does he weight now? The vet told us Hemi was at the right weight when we were there.

To Indy B's Mom - Darrell will appreciate your message since he picked the name. Don't know if you guessed but he named him after the truck engine LOL .... I tell people his name is Hemingway (after the author)... a little more literary and refined LOL.

To Maisie's Mom Lorraine - How cool, we are in Windsor too! Hemi is also our first boxer so looks like we have alot to yap about. Are you thinking about taking her for training somewhere in Windsor? I wish Windsor had dog parks like they do in Toronto. Be fun to have a specific place to bring him to where he could get to know the same doggies all the time to play with (good for us parents too).

Hi and welcome to BW I am formally from the Windsor area but have lived in Eastern Cda. for the past 15 years. I too have my first boxer... a 2 yr. old brindle, docked tail and floppy ears.
