Hi All

New to the website but not new to Boxers. Always had Dobermans as a kid as my parents bred and showed them but my favourite dog has always been the Boxer.
My wife Sue and I were fortunate to have our first boxer nearly two years ago, a brindle male we called Indy. Indy was fab, gorgeous and my best friend. Unfortunately he was run over by a car and died aged just 21 months - we were and still are absolutely devasted. Will post more about him at a later date.
We are picking up two boxer puppies tomorrow 29 March - two bitches who we have named Blaze and Georgia. They were born on 9 February, the day we lost Indy. We know he would have loved his little sisters as much as he loved us.

Hi, so sorry to hear of your Indy, I,ve just lost a boxer & know how devastating it is, but best of luck on your new additions (rather you than me, hehe only joking), I,m sure they will be a great bundle of joy & will be a great help for you to aid getting over your sad loss , oh & welcome by the way, its a great site!

Hi and welcome to BW, I'm sorry for your loss, I'm sure Indy will be greatly missed, I know how devestating the loss of a pet can be. We lost our cat a week before christmas last year. You'll certainly have some fun with those girls of yours. Great names by the way.

New puppies

Welcome to you all, Stu, Sue, Blaze & Georgia. So sorry to hear about your Indy, it is terrible when something like that happens isn't it?
You have done right about getting a couple of wriggly happy puppies, they will take up so much of your time that you will gradually be able to think of Indy & talk of him more. You will also find that they all have their own personalities & ways of doing things, even if they are sisters they may turn out very different to each other.
Looking forward to seeing some photos soon.
