New to the boxer forums here.

My grandparents use to raise boxers when I was very young. Ever since then, I have always wanted a boxer, so me and my fiance decided we would get one, once we got married. Well, i suprised her and I am picking her pup up this Saturday. She is pretty excited about it and we have decided to name it Remington and call it Remi for short. He is a gorgeous brindle Male. Exactly what she and I had been looking for. He is AKC registered and all those other good things I suppose.

We eventually plan on getting an all white female and naming her Winchester.( & calling her Winny for short. So we will have Remi & Winny)

Both will be inside dogs and we eventually plan to breed them.

Just wanted to say Hi and hopefully I will learn alot here!

P.S. You might want to reread the rules. I would not want you to get into trouble. ;) regarding breeding on this site.

However, I would take Crowpete's advice and read the rules regarding breeding on this site. ;)

Discussion of breeding practices that would be deemed by most to be unethical or irresponsible. This includes, but is not limited to: breeding white boxers; breeding young dogs; breeding untested dogs; breeding for any purpose other than to improve the breed and/or your line). If you wish to post about your breeding program on this site, you need to be prepared to provide evidence of the health testing undertaken

I wasnt aware of that... I read down through them but i definitely didnt see that part.

Are there that many issues with the white boxers? I know they are not recognized and I know they are prone to be deaf. Am I missing something?

I dont ever plan to show any dogs, these are just companions..

Thank you guys for the information! Especially the threads. In my s hort time here, I have learned a great deal on this site! I spend ALOT of time on here just reading through threads, researching foods...
