My wife surprised me with Penny friday at the airport, an 8 week old female fawn. I've been waiting quite sometime for the space I needed for one of the best dogs ever(just bought a house). I must say, I'm deeply in love(at first sight). My wife is a little jealous tho, as well are the cats =). Anyways, I look forward to getting to know all of you!

Hi from Houston

Hi there... I am also in Houston. I am in the Medical Center area. I have a 4.5 month old female named Lola. She is a flashy fawn handful of energy!!! I am also fostering one of Lone Star Boxer Rescue's male's named Halo. He is a white boxer with a fawn eye patch on his left eye. I look forward to getting to know you on the board.

Thank u both very much! I work in the medical center alot so I know where abouts u stay. Yeah Penny has a sweetness about her, quite gentle like, but I have yet to see her full energy =). This Lone Star Rescue might be something I have to look into. I have plenty of room in my house since I don't have any kids "yet". And my wife is a die hard animal lover, as well as me. And i don't want Penny to get lonely when I'm at work in such.

You can get more information about Lone Star at www.lonestarboxerrescue.com. If you have the space and the desire to foster I highly recommend it. It is very rewarding. They have so many sweet dogs in rescue right now and they are pretty full so they need help. If you have the room it would be a great addition to your family. My Lola is so happy ever since Halo came home with us. He keeps her company and she has someone to play with.
