I've been away from the forums for a while, but a long time member of BoxerWorld. Just wanted to jump back in and say "Hi again!" Hope to be able to spend more time here.

Thanks for the welcome everyone. I've really enjoyed this board in the past and gotten great advice on some medical/hereditary issues. I'm going to try harder to be more active on the BB.

sandy's mom - I'm in Dawson County which sits at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mtns. I live on the edge of a large forest, the Dawson Forest Management area.

sgbtab - right now I have three boxers in my life. Sophie, and her two children, Gus and Patch. Gus and Patch are almost 11 weeks old. Sophie had 7 beautiful babies, 5 fawn w/white and 2 white. We planned to keep Gus (a fawn male) but seem to be stuck with Patch too (a fawn female). Our first 5 babies went really fast to good homes that I felt really good about. But, and I hope I don't sound to harsh or picky, I've turned down two inquiries which have probably cost me the sale of Patch. I didn't feel good about those prospective owners/homes. I'd rather keep her if it comes down to it. Although, I really don't need another boxer baby. But I'll keep her or even give her away before I'll sell her to someone I don't feel absolutely comfortable with. My sis will be visiting me next week from Virginia, and I'm going to try hard to give Patch to her. She and I both grew up in a boxer home, and she lost her sweet Spike about a year and a half ago, at the ripe old age of 12. So I'm hoping she and her family will take Patch. If not, I'll keep her.
