Boxer Pal
Hey Gang,
Just got our first dog since we had them as kids 20-ish years ago. Our first non-ASPCA mutt. Neither of us knew much about dogs before we (ok, she) did her homework and Boxers quickly went to the top of the list. Saw a few at a dog show in Harrisburg a few months ago and that, as they say, was that - love at first site.
I'm a typical nervous parent and get worried about anything that looks even a little out of sorts. When nothings out of sorts, I sometimes think of things that can go out of sorts, and then worry about them. It'll pass. New dad.
This site's been great for the wife and me to learn about Boxers and for me to be a tad less nervous. I've been lurking and learning for about a month now.
Louis (Satchmo) Loges-Morris will be 5 months on Monday. He's brindle, 35 pounds, happy, healthy, and fun as hell. He's going through obiedience training now and will probably take some more advanced classes too. He goes to a puppy park once a week and has puppy play dates from time to time. He's got 5 cat-siblings and he can't quite figure out why they don't like to play like he does.
Any-who, that's pretty much it here. Thanks for all the knowledge and I'll see you around the forums.
Cheers,
Dave Morris
