He's got rocks in his head!

Another thing Cibo likes to do is try and eat rocks and sticks. I'm assuming it's normal puppy behavior. He's 3 months. When we go walking he always scoops up and loose rocks or debris and I end up fishing them out of his mouth.

Any info?

Continue to fish them out of his mouth, & encourage a tennis ball maybe in place. He needs to get the idea of what he is allowed to play with, & what he's not.

We don't want him to have bad teeth now do we?

Kick this habit now while he is still young.

Tooth vet bills are pretty high.

I would be careful with the stones/rocks, in time these could really wear on his teeth

..make sure he isn't swallowing small stones...it does happen and causes huge problems.

Pearl does this too. If she finds a soda can she will pick it up and carry it home. Just doing her part I guess.

definitely be careful of him eating them--I've been in surgery with a couple of dogs where we have had to removed rocks from their stomachs! not too fun for the dog or the owner's pocketbook! and its not too great on the teeth either, as other posters have mentioned! I would start teaching him to "leave it" when he goes to scoop up a mouthful!
