Henri and his friend donkey

Here's a short video of Henri saying hello to a donkey friend, who he sees several times a week. He gets quite excited, though it doesn't faze the donkey at all - who sometimes comes to the fence to play, and other times just watches.

LOL He's so funny.. I mean.. he's soooo BIG and MANLY, just a gorgeous boy.. and then you hear this whimpering.. Just so funny.. You can just see that he's wanting to just LEAP at that last attempt.. And the Donkey.. just watching him and ears twisting and twitching..

The poor baby! All he wants to do is play- his little whimpers are so sweet! I hope the donkey comes to the fence the next time.

The donkey usually comes to the fence Sometimes he comes running and will play up and down the fenceline - other times, he just watches. Unless it's feeding time, of course, in which case he's too busy to talk to Henri...

Love it! We have two miniature donkeys, but keep Betty out of their corral. Donkeys and dogs normally do not mix well together, as donkeys consider dogs a natural threat. Ours will pin their ears and strike and bite at dogs to chase them away. It looks like this donkey tolerates Henri (who is gorgeous by the way) quite well.
