Freckles and 2nd chemo session

Hi Folks,

Freckles 2nd chemo session with carboplatinum was rough. The technician could not find a good vein and sticked her 4 times. Freckles was not happy nor was my husband and I. I just hope this does not discourage Freckles.
Anyhow, the next day she threw up twice but after 3 days she was her normal self. We were amazed that she still had an appetite after throwing up. The oncologist do not see any lesions forming. We are hoping that she continues to do well.

Freckles - one tough cookie

Hi Folks,

Hope all is well. I can't believe how well Freckles is doing. She is getting ready for her 3rd chemo session. The oncologist is really happy. We are just keeping our fingers crossed. I'm just so thrilled that she is still with us. We constantly worry that the cancer will hit!!! I am really hoping that my baby can beat the odds.

I am so happy to hear that Freckles is doing so well! I know firsthand how hard it is to watch our babies go through chemo and I'm so glad that your experience is going better than mine. I hope that Freckles continues to do well and that the chemo wipes out that nasty disease. I will ask my little angel Cadence to send her extra special wiggles from Heaven.

so sorry to hear about Freckles... hopefully she'll tough it out and respond well to the medication. until then, i bet she feels comforted in knowing she has brave loving parents that won't give up without a fight. kerouac sends puppy kisses and we will keep you and Freckles in our thoughts and prayers.

That was also my dogs name when I was a little girl.. She had freckles on her belly and when My Mom asked me what should we name her.. I said how about Freckles..
