We wipe feet too! Like second nature - one at a time thru the door, wait on the green bath mat, get wiped and move out of the way for the next furbaby. We put down bark and stepping stones on the main pathways that the girls had run bald thru the lawn, and I dump a couple of bales of cedar shavings in the area under the trees - seems to keep the mud down pretty well. The only time I really have to hose their feet is when they seem to think there is something really great to bark at and chase up and down the fenceline. Then we need two towels and the hose.
