We rescued a beautiful female boxer named Abby from the Carolina Boxer Rescue. We are learning something new everyday. Abby really does not like her crate (she will get in though). We are still working on the house training and she is doing pretty good with it. THe problem we have is the cat. We adopted Tabby (did not plan the names to be that much alike) as a kitten 7 years ago. He has been the only baby in the house since then. WE have had to keep Abby away from Tabby. When Abby is out we have to put Tabby in the bedroom with the door closed and when Abby is crated for the night Tabby gets to come out. Tabby (cat) has tryed to get to know Abby (dog) but Abby will have nothing to do with that. She does not growl she just tries to lean forward and bite Tabbys head off. Any suggestions to try to bring some harmony in the house between the two animals would be very much appreciate as getting rid of one of them is completely out of the question!
